On Monday, CMS issued a final rule that aims to streamline processes for small and critical access hospitals participating in telehealth services offered by larger hospitals. The final rule also states that hospitals can receive telehealth services from entities that are not hospitals, including physician groups. The rule will go into effect in July. AHA News et al.
